Flange Nuts

A flange nut is a nut that has an inbuilt washer that is used to keep nuts as secured as possible. One end is wider than a normal nut, and this is what gives it a washer end.

Unidirectional fasteners, such as flange nuts, can only be used in one direction. The washer’s flange can be either plain or serrated. Flange nuts are frequently used in manufacturing assembly lines where using a single fastener rather than a nut and washer speeds up operations.
